Next Playday: August 7th. See you there!
It's here! A regularly scheduled playday is now official. "Tuesday Night Flight," you might call it! We will be gathering for practice, tips, talk, and fun on the first Tuesday of each month, at 5:30 pm, at Duncan Park in Littleton.

Playdays are free, open to everyone (you don't have to be a "member"), and are a great place to come to just have a fun time playing frisbee with your dog. Everyone from first-time novices to our most experienced players are usually there. This is a great time to meet other teams in a relaxed outdoor setting. Besides sharing ideas and tips, we also usually set up a mini-distance field for anyone who wants to practice.

If you are low on discs, we almost always have club frisbees available for sale as well.

Be sure to bring a bowl and plenty of water -- even though it is the early evening, the pups get mighty thirsty playing.

All Colorado Disc Dogs rules apply when we are at the park practicing. We are here with permission from the city, but we need to conduct ourselves in our usual excellent manner. All dogs that are not playing should be leashed. This is a laid back, informal practice session, but we need to be careful and respectful of one another while we are practicing. If you need to have your dog off-leash, give yourself some space so you will

Some members have suggested that we also hold playdays at other locations around the metro area. That would be great! So, if you know of a park that we would be allowed to use, please contact Rick.
not interfere with other teams that are practicing.

We will always pick up any dog deposits we are responsible for (and it doesn't hurt to pick up some extra!). This is mandatory. Bring poop pick-up bags, or ask ANYONE at the playday -- we will have them on hand.

These playdays are also GREAT for dog socialization. If your dog is uncomfortable around other dogs, this is the time and the place to be to work on it! All dogs are welcome, but be responsible for your own dog's behavior. Overly aggressive dogs may be asked to leave for the evening. (Not the owner, just the dog!)

Most of all, come out to have fun! That is the whole point of frisbee dogs! Get your dog, your friends, your frisbee, and come hang out!

Hope to see you there!
